Meditation Incense Series: Small Bundles

Descriptions of Meditation Incense formulas:

Kobunboku an expression of the Plum Tree. The Plum flower - well known from ancient China as, "the flower of peace." This is a traditional Buddhist formula. It is made with Sandalwood and herb incense. This scent is a true delight! "Ko" means Nice, "Bun" means Elegant, and "Boku" means Wood or Tree. (20 grams / appx. 65 sticks / 5.5" - $7)

Tokusen Kobunboku blends Sandalwood with a hint of Aloes wood. Aloes wood has also been used in nearly every religious tradition around the world. It was Aloeswood and Myrrh that was burned at Jesus' burial ceremony. Ayurvedic, Tibetan and Chinese physicians have all used Aloeswood in their practice to treat various diseases as well as mental illness. A very popular blend. Byakudan-Kobunboku - this is a traditional Buddhist formula. "Byakudan" means White Sandalwood, and has a little less herb and more fine Indian Sandalwood in this incense to promote relaxation. Great during body massages and any time you simply want to relax. (30 grams / appx. 75 sticks / 5.5" - $11)

Kaden Kobunboku - Kaden Kobunboku is a Baieido Family Secret incense mixture which contains a higher grade and content of pure aloeswood. "Kaden" translates as "Family Secret" and is a very traditional formula. Wonderful for use in meditation practice. (20 grams / appx. 50 sticks / 5.5" - $12)

Kai Un Koh - this ancient formula contains a very dense Aloes Wood and is highly resinous. Made from sandalwood, aloeswood, borneo camphor, clove and Chinese spices. It clears the mind. (35 grams short bundle / appx 45 thick sticks / 5.5" - $15)
