Gum Dammar resin (white) (Shorea wiesneri) from Indonesia is also known as 'cat-eye resin', which is said to lift the spirit and bring light to the darkness of the soul. Dammar resin is particularly useful to combat sadness, depression and melancholy. White Dammar has a slightly more mild aroma than that of brown Dammar resin.
